Beach Plums in Bloom on Cape Cod

Wild beach plums on the Cape

Every spring, the Cape begins to wake up in its own quiet way. One of the small signs of the season are the wild beach plums now blossoming along dunes, paths, and sandy roadsides across Cape Cod.

Long before the fruit appears later in the summer, the delicate white blossoms briefly cover the bushes—easy to miss if you’re not looking for them, but unmistakably part of the Cape landscape.

Those wild beach plums were one of the inspirations behind our Plum Cider. We loved the idea of creating something that reflects a fruit so deeply connected to coastal New England and the natural character of the Cape.
