Sandy Neck Cider on WCVB’s “Made in Massachusetts”
A behind-the-scenes look at our cidery - airing April 27 around 4.50 pm on WCVB Channel 5 Boston
Talking cider, Cape Cod, and craftsmanship with Doug Meehan
We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Doug Meehan and the team from WCVB Channel 5 Boston to Sandy Neck Cider.
Their visit is part of the ongoing series “Made in Massachusetts,” which highlights local businesses, craftsmanship, and the stories behind them. We’re excited to be included among the many makers across the state who are building something of their own.
The crew spent time with us at the cidery, capturing how our ciders come together—from freshly pressed apples to the final pour. We talked about what inspired us to start Sandy Neck Cider, our connection to the Cape, and the approach we take to crafting each of our blends.
The segment will air on Monday, April 27 at around 4:50 PM on WCVB Channel 5 Boston.
For those who can tune in, we hope you enjoy the piece—it’s a great snapshot of what we’re building here. And if you’re not able to watch live, we’ll share updates as soon as the segment becomes available online.
Moments like this are a reminder of how much support there is for local producers, and we’re grateful to be part of that community.
